Have you ever found yourself driving on bumpy, unsafe roads? Did you ever have to change a whole tire from driving into a pothole disguised as a puddle? Us too. That will not be the case anymore, with AmI Bumpy: installed on your motorcycle, AmI Bumpy will be able to detect the conditions of the road you’re driving on and whether or not it is in need to be fixed. You will be asked if you want your bike's power to be decreased and, in case of positive answer, it will give a command to a stepper motor previously mounted that will act directly on the throttle body by narrowing its motion. AmI Bumpy will help everyone, from beginners to the most experienced drivers, in dealing with uneven roads. Sensing
Thanks to an accelerometer, the system will collect data from your motorcycle frame motion in order to understand the road's conditions.
Reasoning
If the road you have just passed has been found in different conditions with respect the known ones AmI Bumpy will update the central database with the new road condition detected.
Acting
AmI Bumpy will give a command to the stepper motor mounted on your bike that will limit the throttle body motion in order to have less power.
Interacting
When the driver is approaching a road that is deteced as "unsafe", the system will talk to the driver asking him if He desire a decreasing of power and agressiveness of the vehicle. If the driver does want to take these precautions, He will only have to say "yes" or to press a button. AmI Bumbpy will do all the rest.
